Founded in 2012 by Japanese designer Sayaka Tokimoto-Davis, SAYAKA DAVIS is a NY-based fashion label, devoted to sharing the wisdom of nature and the warmth of craftsmanship through clothing.

Focusing on low-impact natural and plant-based materials such as organic cotton and responsible wool, SAYAKA DAVIS offers a subtle yet playful, conscientious wardrobe as self-nourishment in everyday life.

MATERIALS

We deeply appreciate nature’s gifts and carefully make choices, with intention, to lower the impact on the environment as much as we can. We make every effort to use organic and recycled materials for our collections and we are committed to maintaining ethical standards for both animals and humans. 

MAKING
Most of our woven and cut and sew pieces are made in Japan. Carefully crafted with keen attention to detail, we are passionate about making long-lasting, quality clothes. Our knits are made in Japan, China, Peru, and India, with skillful professionals who share our vision for well-made clothing. And they are committed to maintaining ethical standards for workers.

PACKAGING
